Welcome to my website
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Memphis and an applied economist with research interests in labor, health, education, regulation, and public policy. My work aims to provide evidence-based insights that inform policies and improve people’s lives.
My research has been published in Economics Letters and the Journal of Labor Research, and I have presented at competitively selected workshops and conferences. My job market paper examines the impact of Syringe Service Program legalization on overdose mortality and bloodborne diseases using a staggered difference-in-differences approach. I have also conducted research on how licensure reforms, such as Physician Assistant autonomy and the Physical Therapist Compact, affect healthcare access and provider mobility.
In addition to research, I have taught Principles of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics (in-person and online) and tutored MBA students. At the heart of my work is a commitment to advancing research that expands healthcare access, strengthens labor markets, improves lives, and educates people to make informed economic decisions.
