Course Description:
This course introduces the fundamental concepts of macroeconomics, which include the measurement of economic performance (GDP, inflation, and unemployment) and the role of monetary and fiscal policies in an economy. In addition to these concepts, we explore the dynamics of aggregate demand and supply, laying the groundwork for understanding macroeconomics. Through real-world applications and simulations, the course equips students with a strong foundation to understand and evaluate aggregate economic behavior, as well as economic policies and trends.

Student Comments
"Professor Nepal was an amazing professor this semester. He provided a comfortable space to learn throughout the entirety of this course. Professor Nepal also showed immense respect and kindness to students and always took time to effectively explain different material and allow time for questions during and outside of class. As a student, I greatly appreciate it when professors take the time to explain, and I thank Professor Nepal for always being open and reassuring for questions. He also created a space to learn and allowed students grace and understanding, which allowed me personally to fully grasp concepts that I may not have understood the first time."
"I think the prof made the course easy to follow and included a bunch of resources and opportunities to gain a better understanding of what we were doing in class. I appreciated his feedback and time to create and grade discussion questions on a scale with a comment, rather than pass or fail. It helped me better understand what I missed and why. He was very welcoming to questions and was extremely approachable if we were confused. The questions that were asked during class, he went into great detail during his explanations, and really made sure we understood the answer."
"I truly enjoyed this course and appreciated the instructor's kindness and encouragement!"
